We have two kinds of masala chai blends, our Original Masala Chai is made with the full-bodied black Assam tea and our non-caffeinated Herbal Masala Chai is made with the South African Rooibos tea.
Both kinds are blended with honey, fresh ginger and imbued with the spicy goodness of cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, ginger root, star anise, fennel, black peppercorn and cloves The Original blend has a stronger flavor, while the Herbal blend is light and soothing.

Our Original Masala Chai contains approximately 30mg of caffeine in a 12 oz cup, while our Herbal Masala Chai is completely caffeine-free.

The shelf life is 6 months from the date of production, which you can find on the bottom of the canister or bag. It does last longer but for maximum flavour we recommend that you use it within 6 months. Our BBD is 3 months after opening and best stored in your fridge.

The enamel pot is not compatible with an induction stove, however this can be fixed using a converter disk. It's a device that allows you to use non-induction cookware on an induction cooktop and is available on most e-commerce websites.

Our stickers are available on the website for $5, which is a "not-for-profit" donation.

Unfortunately, at this time we don’t offer free shipping. However we’re always working on improving processes and making it easier to get Chai to you.Please let us know if free shipping would make you a customer.

Yes, we do! We have a dry spice mix that’s got all the great flavours of our Original Masala Chai without the added sweetness of the honey or fresh ginger.

We offer curbside pick up, when you order online and chose 'Pick-Up as a delivery option. The pick up will be at our North York location in Toronto - 100 Bridgeland Ave #2B, North York, ON M6A 1Z4. Please call Bob upon arrival at 416-436-3559.

Yes we are selling the company. We're currently working on the valuation of the company and getting things in order. When we have updates, we'll make an announcement.

You can make chai by first adding a spoon of Chaiwala chai into an enamel pot along with some boiling water or your choice of milk. Let it steep for 2-4 minutes, the longer you steep it the stronger your chai. Pour it through a strainer and into your favorite mug and there you have it a cup of warm masala chai! You could garnish it with some chai sprinkles or cinnamon, or even add some honey for extra sweetness. The best part about chai is you can experiment with it, try making some cold brew or an iced chai latte! You can find all of these recipes in the ‘How to make’ section of our website.

The enamel pot is only available with our chai starter kit which contains a canister of your preferred chai blend and a high quality stainless strainer. Basically everything you need to make the perfect cup of chai. We do however, on occasion offer for sale on our website pots that are slightly blemished.

Yes we do try to ship all over the world! However during Covid 19 both Canada Post and UPS are frequently suspending service to different regions, and the only way to know if we are able to ship to your country is to try and process your order.
If your order is accepted there is a very good chance we will ship to you but still not guaranteed. We will need to let you know any late covid suspensions by email and refund your purchase in full.
All international orders may be subject to local government import duty and taxes along with brokerage fees. Please be aware of your countries import/duty rules.

Yes, our spice bag is compostable. All of our products are sustainably packaged.

Our enamel pot holds 12 oz of liquid at a time.
